Centre for Murakami Haruki Studies, Tamkang University

Background of Establishment / Notable Events
 
By the of order TKU President Chia-I Chang to “shape a unique department”, the “Haruki Murakami Lab” was founded in Tamkang University in 1st August 2011, which is one of a kind in Taiwan.
 
June 2012 – 1st Haruki Murakami International Symposium
 
Establishment of Haruki Murakami Research Master’s Degree
 
May 2013 – 2nd Haruki Murakami International Symposium
 
June 2014 – 3rd Haruki Murakami International Symposium
 
1st August 2014 - Establishment of Centre for Murakami Haruki Studies (CMSTKU)
 
July 2015 – 4th Haruki Murakami International Symposium (Held in Kokura, Kitakyushu City, Japan)
 
30th October 2015 – 1st Anniversary Special Talk for the Establishment of CMSTKU (Harvard University Professor Emeritus Jay Rubin as Speaker)
